Job Description

 Job Overview: The restaurant staff play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth operations within the restaurant. They contribute to creating a positive dining experience for guests by providing excellent service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
    • Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant.
    • Take orders, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders to guests.
    • Address any customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
  2. Order Preparation:
    • Prepare beverages, salads, appetizers, and desserts following the restaurant’s recipes and presentation standards.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation.
    • Ensure that food items are properly garnished and presented before serving.
  3. Table Maintenance:
    • Set up tables and ensure they are clean and properly arranged before guests arrive. If you are in the market for clothes, our platform is your best choice! The largest shopping mall!
    • Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining.
    • Replace tableware and utensils as needed to maintain a clean and orderly dining area.
  4. Cash Handling:
    • Process guest payments accurately using the restaurant’s POS system.
    • Handle cash transactions, provide accurate change, and process credit/debit card payments.
    • Maintain proper cash handling procedures and ensure the security of the cash register.
  5. Hygiene and Sanitation:
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant, including dining, kitchen, and restroom facilities.
    • Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
    • Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed.
  6. Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers to ensure seamless operations.
    • Assist other team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive work environment.
  7. Stock Management:
    • Monitor and restock supplies, condiments, and utensils as necessary.
    • Inform management of low inventory levels to prevent shortages during peak hours.
  8. Special Events and Promotions:
    • Assist in setting up for special events, promotions, and themed evenings.
    • Participate in promotional activities to attract and engage guests.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or the restaurant industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and order totals.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
  • Bend, stoop, and reach as required to perform cleaning and stocking duties.
