Job Description

The Assistant / Store Keeper plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient store operations. This position involves overseeing inventory, ensuring product quality, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Include:

  • Effectively manage and maintain the inventory of goods, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and implementing a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder requests to ensure products are always available for sale or use.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.

Background, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Talent for managing multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through to completion
  • Physical fitness for lifting and moving stock when necessary.
